Explore the Beauty of Austin Property

Thoughts are gathered on Austin property. In the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center visitors celebrate the beauty of Mother Nature. Almost 300 pristine acres set the scene for memorable trips. Founded by Lady Bird Johnson and Helen Hayes in 1982 the botanical garden provides a peaceful spot for quiet reflection just minutes from downtown.

Following a mission to “inspire the conservation and application of native plants,” individual gardens showcase over 800 species of greenery and flowers native to the state of Texas. Central gardens are filled with impressive themed plots. Sit in wonderment on a bench in the shady arbor or wander along the wildlife pond. Inquiring minds living in Austin linger in the healing garden or nearby in the fiber and dye garden. The deer resistant garden shows residents how to guard their plants against the palates of resident wildlife. Around the corner romance blossoms in the moonlight garden. And, in the hummingbird garden plants that are adored by the delicate birds are highlighted.

Couples Living in Austin Celebrate Wedded Bliss

Families exploring the Lady Bird Wildflower Center have fun together in the Luci and Ian Family Garden. Here laughter is contagious as kids stretch their legs and parents find amusement in their antics. There is plenty to do together. The shrub maze stimulates the mind as wanderers work their way through. During hot Texas afternoons wading through the creek and wondering at the hands on watering holes are regular activities. Giant birds nests and tree stumps seem larger than life.

Found at 4801 La Crosse Avenue, the Austin property overflows with social interaction. The Courtyard provides a central locale for special events and live music often fills the grounds. Glamorous galas are sophisticated and sweet. Weddings are spectacular and couples are often spied spending their first moments of wedded bliss together in this enchanting space. Hear the Lions Roar from Ausin Real Estate

Wildlife from across the globe lives life to the fullest on Austin real estate. At the Austin Zoo critters from around the world flourish in Texas. Everyone’s favorite is here in one place from leaping lizards to boastful bears and lazing lions.

Favorite creatures are around every corner. Big cats are on the prowl and create quite a stir. Lions and tigers reign tall and proud. Cougars, servals and bobcats are just as regal and all are compared to the housecat left back in Austin homes. The wolf hybrid is also automatically compared to domestic dogs who are part of the family. These large beasts are awesome in size and in bark. Just around the bend and appearing cute and cuddly, the North American black bear can weigh up to 500 lbs.

There is no shortage of monkeying around on this property. Lemurs swing through the trees. Spider monkeys tease and torment one another causing giggles to erupt from guests. Domestic animals are found in the petting zoo. Feed is available for purchase in the gift shop and can be handed out to goats, llamas, miniature donkeys, deer and sheep.

Residents of Austin Homes Lend a Helping Hand

The Austin Zoo is ready to lend a helping hand adhering to a mission to “assist animals in need through rescue, rehabilitation and education.” Guests can help out too by sponsoring an animal. Proceeds go directly to the care of the chosen animal which include wolves, monkeys, tigers, red foxes, birds and more. Items on a wish list are also available for those who wish to donate supplies or other items for the zoo. Memberships support the zoo as well and with added perks for the participants. Packages vary and include unlimited admission, discounted admission tickets for guests, discounted special event tickets, discount on merchandise and complimentary feed tickets.

Located at 10808 Rawhide Trail, a day filled with fun awaits those living in the Austin real estate region. Open daily the park’s hours are seasonal and should be checked on the website before visits. Download a map of the grounds before leaving and plan the day in advance.

Come Aboard Leander Real Estate

Calls ring out for “all aboard” on Leander real estate. Tickets are taken as passengers board a miniature train and leave the station at the Cedar Rock Railroad. Found in SW Williamson County Park, the Shady Oak Railroad chugs throughout the local landscape. Travellers comfortably take in scenic views of the park while enjoying the ambiance of an old fashioned ride.

Dreams come true in Central Texas. And, this tiny train station sprung from the imagination of owner Ken who designed his very own train affectionately dubbed Sophie. The miniature locomotive was built to represent steam engines from the late 1800’s when trains were transforming the United States. Together with help from some friends and his wife Holly, Ken happily runs this local operation pleasing families with quick jaunts around the Leaner property.

Ride the Rails through Leander Property Parks

Groups step up to the depot to purchase their tickets. A trip about the area costs only a few bucks making it affordable for everyone. The conductor relays all kinds of entertaining information about the history of the Leander real estate region as well as pointing out flora and fauna around the loop.

The fun still continues once the train has returned to the station. Youngsters love to climb all over the wooden train play structure and run about in the green open spaces. Colorful pedal cars have their own tracks to chug about under the trees. Make believe inspires creativity in Old Town Pflooterville where mock battles between groups of cowboys and cowgirls are always underway. Picnic tables are strategically placed in ideal shady locations perfect for sharing a lunch or afternoon snack. For those who forgot to bring their own grub the concession stand keeps a steady supply of drinks and treats. A train themed miniature golf course is in the works and almost ready for action!

Birthday parties are a big hit by train loving children. Reserve the train and the picnic tables for parties filled with pep and energy. Inquiries about specific dates can be made by calling 512.413.1705. Find out more here.
